RAMADAN: Jigawa Govt Reduces Official Working Hours

Jigawa state government has reduced official working hours, directing civil servant to now close by 3:00pm throughout the month of Ramadan.
A statement issued by Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, the State Head of Service, said civil servants will now report to office at 9:00a.m and close at 3:00pm from Monday to Thursday, and close at 1pm on Fridays.
According to him, the new working hours comes into effect immediately, and was meant to provide the civil servants with greater opportunities to engage in spiritual activities during the month.
“It is hoped that civil servants in the state will use the Ramadan period to pray for God’s guidance and blessings for our state,” the Head of Service added.
