SECURITY IS EVERYONE’S BUSINESS: CSO COALITION COMMENDS SENATOR MALLAM MADORI’S SECURITY INFRASTRUCTURE INTERVENTIONS
The Civil Society Coalition on Peace, Security and Conflict Resolution commends Senator Amb. Ahmad Abdulhamid Mallam Madori for the commissioning of the modern Police Division in Birniwa Local Government Area.
This is a welcome investment in public safety and institutional capacity. Beyond the physical structure, the provision of facilities such as solar power, water supply, offices, operational spaces and other essential infrastructure demonstrates the importance of creating a conducive environment for security personnel to effectively serve the people.
We also welcome the ongoing and proposed security infrastructure projects across Jigawa North-East, including police facilities in Guri, Bulangu, Kafin Hausa, Mallam Madori, Kirikasamma and Hadejia.
As a Civil Society Coalition committed to peace, security and responsible governance, we encourage the continuation of such interventions beyond one constituency and across Jigawa State, particularly in communities facing security and infrastructure challenges.
We equally call on other legislators representing Jigawa State at both the National and State levels to emulate this kind of practical support for security institutions within their respective areas of representation.
Security is not the responsibility of government alone. Security is everyone’s business. Legislators, government institutions, traditional and religious leaders, civil society, communities and citizens all have important roles to play in building safer and more peaceful communities.
We therefore appreciate this contribution and encourage more partnerships, interventions and sustained investment in security infrastructure across Jigawa State.
Promises matter. But when promises translate into facilities that serve the people, communities feel the difference.
