Tinubu appoints Mainasara Kogo Code of Conduct Tribunal Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr Mainasara Umar Kogo, an advocate of rule of law and good governance, as the new Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

Dr. Kogo who will replace Justice Danladi Umar, is a seasoned lawyer and analyst in the fields of law, security, economy, politics, and international diplomacy.

The appointment was announced by presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale on Saturday in a statement.

The President tasked the new CCT chairman to display professionalism, integrity, and fidelity in the discharge of his new assignment.

The Syndicate reports that the new CCT chairman hails from Katsina State, and has a Masters Degree and Ph.D in International Law. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Relations and Diplomacy, and Post Graduate Diploma in Education.

Before his appointment as CCT chairman, Dr. Kogo was the company Secretary and Legal Adviser to the National Commission for Colleges of Education.
