UTME to start April 24 says JAMB
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will start on Thursday, April 24, 2025, a day earlier than previously announced.
The new date, announced by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr Fabian Benjamin said the adjustment was made to accommodate some essential commitments.
It said candidates can now print their Notification Slips, which contains vital information regarding their exam details including examination date, venue and time.
“Candidates are encouraged to print their Notification Slips starting today, Saturday, April 19, 2025. This will provide ample time for logistical arrangements to access their assigned centres within the chosen examination towns,” the statement said.
JAMB assured that candidates will be assigned to centres within their chosen examination towns. “No candidate will be placed in a centre outside their selected town,” the statement added.
