Insecurity: Zamfara Governor pledges more support for security agencies
Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State has pledged to provide more support for security agencies in the task of tackling the security challenges of the state.
The governor made the commitment during the state Security Council Meeting held on Thursday in Gusau.
“Earlier, I chaired the Zamfara State Security Council meeting, where we deliberated on the ongoing successes gained by our gallant security agencies in the fight against banditry and other criminalities in our state.
“I must commend our men for their sacrifice to keep us safe, and my administration will continue to collaborate and support them in no small means to rid our state of criminals.”
The governor assured people of the state that the government would explore all available means to make the state safe for all.
“Let me also reiterate that my administration remains steadfast in the fight against banditry, and we will continue to work assiduously to surmount our challenges.”
